Our most important job – Introduction

The pastor of our church, Dr. Greg Johnson, is currently in a series called “Take this job and LOVE it.”  It was an excellent, and eye-opening sermon series on how we should approach the careers that God has blessed us with.  Regardless of the financial gain or social status that each of our jobs provides, the fact that we have work to do is a gift from Him.  Each of these sermons will be posted online at: http://www.fbcsanger.com/worship/sermons/

The latest in this series addresses our most important job title – Mom or Dad.  This sermon struck a chord with me personally as we are beginning a journey teaching a parenting teens class.  That journey has even more significance, as we have one in our home right now.  Our desire to get this right, or as right as we possibly can, made this sermon stand out in a big way to me.
